Our products

Our absinthes are distilled in two copper stills made by hand, in the great tradition of absinthe distillers.

Absinthe 55°

Aniseed-flavoured absinthe typical of the Bleues Clandestines du Vallon. Unchanged recipe, ideal for palates wishing to learn about absinthe.

Absinthe à la truffe

A unique fusion of absinthe and truffle varieties. After months of maturing, absinthe reveals a unique flavour and taste from this noble product.

La bleue authentique

Atypical green absinthe with Provencal notes of petite wormwood and lemon balm. Its ‘wool stocking’ maceration gives it an emerald colour.

An authentic product from the birthplace of absinthe, it pays tribute to 19th century recipes and flavours from before the ban.

Apple brandy from St-Sulpice (Val-de-Travers). Characteristic, intense flavour. As a digestive, chilled.

Visit

Located in Couvet, Val-de-Travers, the village where the first distillery was built in the 18th century, the Officine de Verre is an astonishing cellar and museum. Come and discover the world of absinthe, traditional distillation and pharmacy.

Our history

The DistAB Sàrl distillery was founded in 2005 by five absinthe enthusiasts who wanted to share their passion for a product that had been banned for too long.

After many years of passion and clandestinity, Pierre-André Stauffer passed the baton to his son, who remained faithful to the tradition of the distillers of the time.

More than fifty years of experience and anecdotes will take you into the fantastic world of absinthe in fairyland.
